Dr. Robinson is an African-American OB/GYN with a passion for elevating the plight of women’s health both locally and globally. In 2016, Dr. Robinson joined the department of OB/GYN at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she actively serves as a clinician and resident mentor. At Harbor, Dr. Robinson has had the unique opportunity to domestically align her decade-long international work as the Medical Director of MAMA’S – an innovative program which seeks to abate rising rates of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality; augmenting traditional prenatal care with social, educational and mental health services for underserved women at highest risk for poor maternal and neonatal outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Robinson serves as the Vice-Chair for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within the OB/GYN department.

Dr. Stohl’s areas of interest include optimization of maternal and fetal outcomes through multi-disciplinary care during pregnancy, improving resident and fellow education in high-risk pregnancy care, and the interface between medicine and law, including methods of decreasing risk through education, improvements in documentation, and protocol development. She is the site director for the University of California Fetal Consortium and works with a multi-disciplinary team at Harbor and UCLA to care for high-risk pregnant patients.

Jennefer Russo, MD, MPH

Dr. Russo is a family planning specialty-trained Ob/Gyn physician with extensive health care operations experience. After residency Dr. Russo served as a National Health Service Scholar in a federally qualified health center in the Logan Heights neighborhood of San Diego, where she worked as a generalist for five years. After completing her Family Planning fellowship she became Medical Director and Vice President of Clinical Services at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. During her seven years with the organization, she was integral in developing a primary care practice from the ground up, implementing an online health service app, and changing health center flow to create a better patient experience.

As Vice Chair of Clinical Operations Dr. Russo oversees all patient care operations for the department, teaches residents, conducts research and provides direct clinical care to the population of underserved patients who receive care from the LA County Department of Health Services. Her research currently focuses on early medication abortion, offering ectopic pregnancy treatment in the outpatient setting, and use of technology for information about contraception and abortion.
