GME Verifications

To Verify Residency & Fellowship Training

The GME office does NOT process training verifications for our training programs.

Verification of residency or fellowship training must be sent directly to the training program directly. Please use the button below to access our training programs.

Verification of internship training from our previous Transitional Year program must be sent to Alice Alves (AAlves@dhs.lacounty.gov).

Please allow 10-15 business days for a response.

Malpractice/Certificate of Insurance Verification

For Harbor Housestaff – To obtain a verification letter and/or claims history, email the Medical Staff Office, HarborMSO@dhs.lacounty.gov. Specify you require a letter to verify one or all of the following:

Malpractice Coverage Verification Letter
Professional/General Liability Insurance Verification
Claims History Requests

The request must include your full name, dates of service (i.e. 7/1/20 – 6/30/25), and contact information.

Note – please clarify with your future employer/requesting entity if they need to receive the information directly from the MSO as primary source verification. You must then provide MSO with a statement authorizing them to release the information with your signature and date.
